Sadly it seems TM is once again being targeted by spammers, 30 yesterday and another 58 today all with links or references to porn sites. Even though any new posts can't appear until approved by the Modsters, it still takes time to weed these eejits out. On that basis the registration feature has been turned off and will stay that way for a while. We usually turn it off over Christmas anyway so it's just taking place a day or three earlier this year.

The times, they are not a-changin'!!!

We still get a plethora (lovely word that, I've always wanted to try it out!) of spammers all pushing their iffy wares so, as I'm getting older and more miserable each day (watch the '72:AH' change soon), I'm turning registrations off now until after Christmas. If this causes any serious problems please PM me and I’ll have a rethink! Merry Christmas one and all!!

In recent weeks attempts have become more numerous so, as we have a long holiday weekend, I'm turning registrations off for a few days.

I turned the feature back on but we had 8 spam messages in about 30 minutes so I've turned it off again.

You do realise that there's probably a law against that now?

It's 2022.....stop being 'Spammist' - as you might hurt someone's feelings.

Sadly, the eejits persist in posting their crud so registrations are off again. If any of you know someone who would like to join, then I can turn registrations back on for them - just PM me with the details and I'll be happy to help.

Again we have a rash of spammers, this time tryinng to sell some rather disgusting stuff. I'm turning registration off for perhaps a couple of weeks to get some breathing space. I'm away for most of that time so it will give me a break but I'll log in as regularly as I can and will check out any genuine cries for help etc!

Surely, there's a finite number of tricks with Sharpies and Rubik Cubes, that people are trying to flog?

I often wonder how the people who make gaffed Sharpies manage to acquire lots of dry Sharpies? Perhaps they can only sell in small numbers as they wait for the rest to dry out on the radiator.....

Anyway, I'm off for the weekend so registrations are off again until Tuesday-ish.
