Sadly...

... it looks very much like this forum is dead. If there's anyone left here who would like to join another UK based forum, try http://www.magicbunny.co.uk/ , which is still alive. There's also an enormous amount of useful information in the files (including the original Tarbell and all the issues of "Top Hat") and the archives.

It's such a shame, isn't it.

As a relative newby to this forum, I only wish that I'd have joined during its heyday.

It's just a tad strange, isn't it?

How can a forum just cease with contributions, whilst a different UK forum still gets traffic?

Different members (apart from me) - as far as I know, anyway.

Happy New Year to everyone still here.

Wouldn't it be great to see this message board revitalised for 2024!

It is such a shame despite efforts to revitalise the forum.

Happy New Year All.

Hi there,

I used to use this forum so much, but for some reason, and I really don't know why, I just gradually drifted away from it.
It's a shame as the help and advice from here was invaluable during my early days of magic.

Is there anyone else still on here?

:-)

Yep!

As a matter of interest, why did you drift away - and what prompted you to log back in?

There must be others in a similar situation to your good self. :?:

I'm still logging in once a day just in case there's been any activity!

You, me and the invisible man - thereafter, activity appears non-existent.

You've been on here for many years Barry - do you know who actually runs it these days?

I wonder if they contacted MagicWeek to promote it - whether it may kick-start a revival? Duncan's a great bloke and may be willing to help.

I don't think anyone is running it. Someone must have paid for hosting and the domain name; unless they are still paying it will presumably go offline when the next renewals are due.
