My web designer has put up access to the new forum on the website. Go to the website and click on the FORUM link. It's hosted by MSN so if you are not already a member, you will need to become one. It was the easiest way to set it up. Once you join, it's easy to access.

The forum will be the place to ask questions and, if you are feeling generous, offer tips and advice to others.

It's a private forum only open to those who have bought the trick.

Hope to see you in there soon.

Just out of interest Jon, is this something you will be performing at the Ipswich Magical Society Convention in october?

Sorry for the delay in answering but I have been away. Yes, it is something I'll be doing at Ipswich.

I've added a visual gag that gets a great laugh. It's my favourite bit of the routine now!

Be there to see.....

I've made an offer of the gag to the people who have signed up for the TST forum on the website.

Now is that incentive or what...!

Just tried getting into the magicians section and was told "The requested URL was not found on this server." That was after a few messages about the certificate having expired.????

In case there is anyone that doubts this routine plays well, here is a picture of Jon performing it at one of the close-up tables at the Ipswich Magical Society Convention this year.

Just on a tangent - any TM members in that photo?

Pity it's not where he did it to my group. I was the victim - yay! I still haven't the faintest idea how he did it though as I am fairly sure I had a good choice of cards...

It is really a great routine...:D

any TM members in that photo
I was sitting just behind the blonde haired girl in the photo - her name was Vicky and, inevitably, each close up performer (plus one in the evening show) picked her to help with various effects!
If only I had long blonde hair (or, indeed, any at all), I'm sure I'd have been in the photo  .

OK. It seems that a number of us have bought Silent Treatment but how many of you are like me haven't actually got around to performing it to an audience (other than Jon of course  )?

I'd be interested to hear of your thoughts from those of you that have performed this one in front of a real live audience and any tips would be appreciated.

I'd also be interested in any stories people have of performing it for people.

Btw, I had a fun time at Ipswich and the table that is shown in the picture was a riot!

Jon, Tom, or anyone else who bought this effect,
Do you think this effect is doable for a hobbyist who likes to do tricks for family and friends?
