Someone Help me PLEASE!!!!

Postby Kris » Apr 27th, '03, 05:06

Ok, ive been reading in to this trick and i cannot see the basis of it. It all started with these 2 cops that walked in to a store, There reading eachothers minds.....

Well, One of the guys you would tell any celebrity's name, Then the other partner came back over. He would reply with saying to his partner....clear your mind about 2 times....then replied with a word in my case was "think of November upside down" then told him to think of the colors purple an red. After sitting there for a few minutes the guy guessed the damn person i was thinking of....(John Wayne) I want to know if anyone can tell me where i can learn how they did this, they refused to reveal there source. Can anyone help me out. It is something with them finding the first letter of the first an possibly last name. If anyone could direct me to a book or something that i could learn this from i would be very much appreciative.
Thanks

Kris

Hmmm...

Neuro-linguistic programming? Who knows...

There was a brilliant revelation shown on TV a while back (by Derren Brown, I think) where a bunch of people were influenced into a design of some sort (I think they were all graphic designers - like me! hence the strong memory). The elaborate method was intense - with many 'clues' and subconsious programming techniques used to suggest and hint towards visual and verbal messages.

The actual mechanics of the trick sound iffy, although the principle in a more elaborate form would be quite viable.

I will be interested to see where this one heads...

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..

Magicdiscoman...

Glad we can be of service! You're not such a 'shrinking violet' yourself - and I hope people don't feel we're dominating - it would simply seem we've found a good home and outlet for our creative ramblings.

By the way - here for the nightshift again...!

Lots more posts tonight, I feel. If I were a leecher, I'd be apply to Laurence for an 80% discount by now....!
