Jabs???

What's the desired effect... there are more ways to skin a cat, so to speak... (sorry Mog!!! I expect reprimanding!)

Number forcing is relatively difficult - but there are ways of narrowing down choices. People are usually quite open to suggestion, especially in a controlled environment.

Also, mathematics can be used to force numbers.

you could try only using "odd numbers with 2 different digits between 1 and 50" like blaine uses.... failing that how abouyt pick a number between 1 and 3? heh heh

and no reprimands this time seige... think I'm becoming used to all the cat references.... maybe i should change my username to "fido"?...

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..

you could use the one i sometimes use which entails this:
Ask someone to think of a number between 1 and 10 lets say.
Then multiply it by 9.

The result will always be a factor of nine (never!!!)
So then say add the two digits together.
This will ALWAYS add up to 9 e.g 72,81,36 etc.

Then you can do what you like because you know the number is nine.
I.e take away 8 to give 1

Hope that helps, sorry its a bit mathematical and not too magical
