Weeja from Black Artefacts

Weeja

£30

2
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)
I've marked it as a 2 instead of a 1 'cos if you've smallish hands you might find the handling a little 'knacky' to begin with…

Review
What do you get? Have a little look here….

Rather obviously this is a miniature ouija board. But instead of relying on real spirits to move it for you (and let's face it - they can be quite lazy sometimes) - you have complete control over it…

This opens up a whole (other)-world of revelations, be it cards/names or however you work. The design of the board itself Is fantastic. Ancient looking (as you can see) - though beware of spilling anything on it, and having greasy mitts whilst handling it…

The "other item" you get with it might benefit from a small covering of felt/velvet if it still works - I've not experimented with that idea yet…

And maybe the addition of the basic e.s.p. symbols might be a worthwhile addition - though that might not lend itself to the "authenticity" of a ouija-board…

Not only do you get a presentation written by Keith Hart, but also plenty of ideas to play around with too…

Overall

Excellent quality, a brilliant idea and a fantastic presentation. The sheer choice this gives you for revelations/mind-reading and so on is many a splendid thing…just take the time to play around with it and spend some quality time on the presentation rather than race through it grey-hound fashion with a "oooh look there's your card…"

Make it intimate and slightly odd throughout and you're going to get great reactions…

They say it fits in the pocket....does it? It looks really cool! Could work nicely with a RaMa deck.....

...does it fit in your pocket? well, kinda depends on how big your pockets are i suppose...

i would say yes to a blazer...but not a jean pocket...

i would recommend using a nice set of tarots personally...

recently got this and was actually a little scared to get it
my wife is now on edge that there is a quija board in the house.
Have not performed it yet as feels this needs total respect and to set the atmoshere to get total effect and i also recommend using tarots as playing cards will just seem like a stunt.
But on the whole im loving it

all those that believe in telekinesis raise my right hand!!!

I been looking at this, but trying to hold out to CUPS.

Also the wife went a bit nuts when she seen me looking at it on the interweb the other week. Think she scared!

i can always find things to buy from Keith Hart, genius products...

can i also recommend his books too...the first one is fantastic value for money especially...

the best thing about it is that all sleights and so on are predominantly fairly easy to do whatever your skill levels are, so you can really spend more time setting the scene and drawing people into it all...

in someone's front room past midnight, a few flickering candles, a serious tone and lots of strange things happening....lovely
