Well, you'll be pleased to know, within about 48 hours, items will be shipping to the States.

I am not sure of the final postage costs, but I will let you know.

In the meantime, the Mogtrix is downloadable... and the PDF downloads are available to any country.

And yes—Andy is on a winner with the Mogtrix. It really does play as cleanly as it looks. Forget Chink-a-Chink, you can actually lift your hands from the table with this one!

Mogtrix

Not to rain on the parade here, but users should know that while it is a great effect, it is a new version of a classic that uses a different method that some of you may not like. Personally I prefer effects that start clean and end clean. This one will take some doing to keep the punters off your scent (or is that cent?).

Everyone will have their preferences - I used to only perform material that started and ended clean, but at the end of the day, that shouldn't be the deciding factor in what you perform - the overall effect should be.

When beginning, I found that everyone wanted to examine everything before and after the effect - 10 years later, and I can't remember the last time someone asked me if they could examine something. As your confidence grows, so does your audience management.

The MogTrix, from watching the demo, appears much cleaner and more magical than most matrix (or assembly) routines, and for me, that's the most important thing.

Mogtrix

Postby DrTodd » Apr 7th, '06, 07:34

Absolutely...just didn't want people to think it did not have these issues. I have done the two notes and four coin assembly, and now do four cards and four coins, which follows my coins across nicely. I can take out four coins, do coins across, then add four cards and do matrix.

Mogtrix is a visual feast, but will be more difficult to work in and out of a close up routine.

Thanks for the kind words all..it would be nice to hear more thoughts by the people who have bought the effect (obviously without exposing the method;) )

Just in at NUMS...

A new gimmick for the Mogtrix which makes the effect MUCH easier to perform whilst getting in and out of the routine, and means that Mogtrix will in fact be easier all round to perform during a show.

must...not...buy...

One question: is it impromptu? That is, can you grab out four coins and do it on a spare chair or does it need a close-up mat etc...?

Please don't say it's impromptu...

By the way, you mentioned a new something for the Mogtrix. Is that out yet or it is coming out soon?

Thanks,

Kati

It will be on NUMS some point today. It's only really aimed at people who buy the instant download... the 'retail' printed version of the Mogtrix comes with everything you need.
