Technical Problem

Postby AJ82 » Jun 8th, '06, 18:08

Hi, I don't know if this post is in the wrong place.

When I click on
Mark all topics read

It does not change the posts to seem as if they have been read.

Is this just me not understanding or using it wrong or does it not work?

Alex

Magic is real, just look around you, some of the most amazing things have no reason, no explanation but are very real.

It might be that you've got a problem with cookies in your browser.

Ok not sure what cookies are and I am assuming they are not a biscuit in my hard drive. Not to worry I will just click on each most so they turn from red to white.

You may need to clean out your cookies. This folder is in you C drive on the computer. Cookies are something that saves information about a site you visit. For example on here.

Hi AJ

The problem you described is actually a known bug I am afraid. If after you mark all topics as read, you leave talkmagic and then restart it, they will all have been marked accordingly. Unfortunately whilst still there it doesn't work.

A tad annoying I know. I guess you will just have to read everthing now :)

Simon

Thanks simon. I quite like reading everything so maybe it is fate.

Thanks for the info.
