Now Leighton I know it's your birthday, but that's no excuse to break the rules...

Just this once though I'll let you into the secret... (Mod's please delete this if this comes too close to exposure)

As his name suggests Gerald is a Wonder Wildebeast, in other words he really is magic!

Let me explain his method for this mini miracle... Whilst you were distracted reading the first part of the thread, Gerald astrally projected his wildeself into your front room. Whilst there he scanned your wife's frontal lobes using his superior Wildepowers and gained the secret name of your dad (and some interesting information involving an eggwhisk, a hamster and a large tub of raspberry jam, but that's probably best left unsaid).

Just before you arrived at the relevant post he scribbled the name with a large black crayola crayon onto your monitor's screen. Such are his powers of misdirection, you probably didn't even notice him do it. In fact you probably didn't even notice him nicking your stereo as well.

Then he returned here, put a Barry Manilow CD onto his new Hi-Fi, poured his wildeself a dry sherry, put his hooves up and whinnied (he would have laughed but he's a wildebeast and it wouldn't have been the done thing).

I hope that answers your question mate, obviously if you ever ask how something is done again I'll be reporting you to the Mods.

Glad you liked your present!

Well, it seems OK apart from the reference to Barry Manilow - not sure about that. Anyways, thanks for the slice of cake Leighton!
