Yes, that's me. I've loved magic for most of my life, but never progressed beyond 'amateur hobbyist' status. That's where I'm happiest, though, since writing is my discipline and takes up plenty of time!

I'm a big fan of close-up magic. In particular, I have strong nostalgic links with the Supreme Magic Company (can highly recommend Ian Adair's book about his decades with them, Dealing With Magic) and Mad Hatter Magic/Inzani-Henley.
