Hi, welcome to TM!

There are plenty of card tricks which need no sleight of hand so you can focus on the presentation. I'm sure the folks here will be able to suggest several likely effects.

Check out some of the self working tricks - Karl Fulves released a great book of self workers and it costs very little. Routines like Out Of This World are well within everyone's reach and use ordinary cards.

Hi and welcome to TM :)

I can recommend the book that Mandrake mentioned, as I have it and there are a few gems in there, even though they're all self working - no sleight of hand needed.

Here's a link to one on Amazon, although you might find it cheaper elsewhere:

Taking everything into account, you can always use a Svengali deck or a Stripper deck to make yourself look like a pro, but with out the special sleight of hand moves.. I still occasionally use these decks myself and I've been into magic for many years.. Good luck on your adventure and welcome to TM..
Regards Garry. :)

Hello all, just bought myself the F1 nitro wallet from Alakazam, should get some fun out of this when it comes. It looks like it will be easy to master for a novice like me. If anyone has the f1 nitro wallet and can give me any tips they would be a big help.. Thanks for reading.
Steve.

Hey Steve, welcome along to TM! :D

The Karl Fulves books are great and well worth getting hold of, full of some great ideas and cost next to nothing :).

Where are you from, if you're going into Alakazam (assuming you're going into the shop rather than the website) then you must be fairly local to me?

I live in Sheffield so I have to use the website, would love to visit the shop though buts its too far from Sheffield. I have one of Karls books which iam reading at the moment.
iam just learning how to handle the cards (one hand cuts riffle shuffle and how to control a card) its hard when I haven't done any handling before).

got my f1 nitro now and it is fantastic.. been doing the gambler trick, it looks brilliant when performing it. there is a lot of tricks to learn with it, some of the more complicated tricks are hard to understand for a complete novice like me but I will keep going, my gimmick is a 6 of clubs and I was wondering if I should remove the normal 6 of clubs from my deck. should I do this ?.
any tips are most welcome..
thanks for reading.. steve.
