To satisfy your curiosity, there's NO cutscene. What you're seeing is exactly what happens.
I'd be dubious about using a pigeon—not only due to the size but also due to their random nature... a loose pigeon on stage would be scary.
This kind of effect has been around for a long time in various guises. I guess you could attempt to make it yourself, really. But I still wouldn't recommend using a pigeon!

Posted: Oct 1st, '07, 20:45I work the inner harbour/causeway in the summer time in Victoria BC. It is an outdoor show, so the pigeon would probably just fly home. Is there any plans on how to make this trick. I really like the idea of the pigeon flying away after the trick, plus the bigger size is more amazing. If there's no plans available then I would probably buy the trick and consider making a bigger one if it doesn't seem to unreasonable to make. Thanks for letting me know that the video is not cut. I can't wait to find out how this trick is done! Jordan
