It's not a mistake. If a book isn't available on amazon, then you'll always get some chancer asking astronomical prices. Didn't you see the thread about the pickpocketing book? A seller on Amazon was asking about 400 quid for it just because no one had it in stock.

This will be my first mentalism book and i can not wait to read it there are a few other i want to get too but i was told to get this one first a a ground work hope it lives up too the hype thaks for the review

i finally got this book it is great i have read it once throught and it has blowen me away i will really have to put the hours in to get all this one thanks TM for informing me about this book

13 Steps is a brilliant book. Craig's sticky post is also a must read. It will help you a lot if you're interested in mentalism.

Somebody on this thread said that Corinda was in his dotage. He may be old but I know that he is as sharp as ever.

I remember over 40 years ago he gave me the best advice I have ever heard about taxation. Better than any accountant. He said "keep your mouth shut".

I can't help but getting enthousiastic whenever reading some pages in this book. A definite classic

(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)



Review: I got this book for christmas and I have read it twice already its one of those books you just can't put down, the descriptions of each technique are immaculate and every chapter opened my eye's and made me fall in love with magic and mentalism all over again, it is very well layered aswell I find the more times I read it there is little things you pick up. I heard great things about Corindas books from some magicians and mentalist like Barefoot boy aka Paul Pacific, good friend and was the first person to tell me to get Corindas and I am glad I did but all the good things I heard I am pleased to say they are all true. This book covers everything from the importance of having the correct swami and how to use it too how to put together a presentation.


Overall : A Must for any Mentalist or Magician, I am starting on it now for the third time, you could half the chapters and it still would be worth the £20. Possibly the greatest book I have read on mentalism.

thinking about ordering this book now after all these awesome reviews, one question though: will i need to buy giimmicks to perform the trick described in the book or can i start practicing it right away?

It depends on the effect. Some effects you can make yourself, others need very little or nothing and some chapters are devoted entirley to an absolutley fantastic 'gimmick'. Defintley, it will be worth your money, I assure you.
