The Effect

http://www.anthonyjacquin.com/products.html

This book is about hypnosis and how to use it effectively.
It will teach you what hypnosis is and how to hypnotise people anytime and anywhere.

Whether your aim is to use hypnosis for fun, influence, profit or hypnotic engineering this book will show you how.

Is it possible to walk into a shop and leave with
any goods you choose without paying?

Is it possible to become 'invisible'?

Is it possible to pay people with blank paper
rather than cash?

Is it possible to make people collapse with laughter
on your command?

Can you get free drinks by convincing bar staff
you are a superstar?
The answer to all of these questions and many more is YES. The techniques in this book will show you how.

The techniques in this book are simple direct and can be learnt without any prior knowledge of hypnosis. They can be applied effectively in a real world setting, well out of the comfort zone of the therapy room and without the luxury of a stage full of expectant subjects. They are entirely impromptu.

Review

I'm going to be blunt

I have spent a fortune on lousy e-books and normal books claiming to teach "hypnosis". None of which actually did anything for me. All they did is teach theory...well I say nutss to theory. I wanted to know real world stuff, stuff you can do without 40 minute inductions in a quiet room...stuff you can do on a university campus, at a night club, in a restaurant e.t.c

Well guys, I found it.

This book, in my opinion, is so good, I wasn't going to review it and bring it to everybody's attention. The only thing that swayed me and changed my mind was the fact that I want to thank author, so I'm recomending it to everyone.

This...is...GOLD

This is actually exactly what I wanted, what anyone should want! It has a little bit of theory at the start, before going into step-by-step...yes...step-by-step guides of what to do and how to do it. Everything from exact words you say, all the way to where you are positioned, rather than the "say something like the folllowing...and customise it to your personality..." rubbish.

This guy basically teaches what can actually be called "the real world stuff" on hypnosis.

Yesterday, i decided to test out the methods he teaches, from the set-pieces to inductions, all the way to proper suggestions.

Everything worked.

yes.

(You read that correctly...unless you read it opposite to what i actually wrote...)

Everything worked.

I'll say it again...

It all worked...perfectly...

everything.

Basically, well...everything worked.

Having only ever managed before 2 hands stuck together, and even then it didnt work every time, to be able to get a full blown skeptic completely "under" was gobsmacking for me! Not only did i make his hands completely imobile and stuck to the table...

and in the middle of a restaurant at that...so a definite impromptu setting...

it was all done within 5 minutes.

furthermore, I took it further and put him under whenever I tapped him on the shoulder he would fall "asleep"

But the best part, was that i got his right arm completely numb. he couldnt move it, or feel anything.

we put ice cubes, a filled glass on it, and he didnt know. We even stabbed his hand with a fork, or started cutting with a knife, and he still didnt know.

We did it with his eyes open, he was shocked.

I took him out of it, using the methods taught in the book, and with barely a touch of the knife he pulled his hand away in pain.

Basically...

in summary...

this book is the SHIZNIT!

It teaches everything properly, step by step, and leaves no questions unanswered.

Overall

This book is what I have been searching for for the last 5 years.

rating our of ten?

24

very, very much reccomended if you want to either learn hypnosis for fun, to get uni mates pished on water, or to use it as no danger pre-show in mentalism.

Awesome!

Have ordered. I await with interest. What's the delivery time like?

PostPosted: Sep 17th, '08, 21:51

took me two days i think. I was one of the lucky ones that ordered a bit ago and got an accompanying dvd with it. I think he is releasing it seperately soon.

I haven't watched it yet so cannot comment...all you need is the book!

I also believe he has released some supplements especially for magicians as well.

but as i said...the book is very, very good.

you have done yourself justice already.

and at £25...compared to some of the other nonsense out there? Very underpriced

I'll second Iain's comments... Anthony seems a good sort and the book/DVD a decent production.

I mentioned this piece months ago in my VISIONS column, btw.

I wish people would stop posting good reviews as they are costing me a fortune!

I am really tempted with this as I already have an interest in Hypnotherapy following a course I recently completed.

May need to do some self-hypnosis to try and resist buying.....

Gentlemen, I'm intrigued i must say. This book sounds like everything we all want from this particular genre of entertainment....user-friendly, straight-forward, and with descriptive methods and instructions! Perfect.

If the effects you can produce are as powerfull (and lucrative) as the review states, im certainly going to begin researching this book. It seems as though this is taking all the very best results you can expect from hypnosis, and compiling them into a handy step by step guide.

Seems almost too good to be true. Im looking forward to hearing some further review posts, and other opinions if anyone else owns a copy. A very interesting thread indeed. Fair play to you Mr Blapsing Beard.

somewhat coincidentally I have just found Anthony's business card in my jacket pocket, does anyone have any idea when I met him!??
I'm tempted by the buy, i'll see how much spare cash I have when the next pay cheque hits.

I think that was all correct apart from the "alone" bit. I imagine it was in the windowless room in the Ruskin, so no chance of any "alone time".
