Hello,

I am still working my way (slowly) through Switchcraft.
Could any of you recommend a book (or any other resourse) which deals with the theory of making billets seem unimportant (and any theory for billet work in general)?

I am certain I have read something about this before but I am not sure where. Perhaps there is some work on it in Switchcraft that i either haven't gotten to yet, or something i've forgotten about!

Thanks for any advise,

Sam

Sam, you dont need a book to tell you how to make billets seem unimportant.

just remind yourself of one important thing.

Its just a piece of paper.

I haven't posted for a while (life got in the way), but I've just received my update from Elliot. For me, Switchcraft has been THE single most value for money purchase I have ever made. It's got tonnes of routines and technical explanations that you could make an entire routine/career from. Not only that, it keeps getting updated with more stuff, which you get, for free. I cannot recommend this product enough. If you don't have it, get it. It's awesome! K :)

Just the other day I was thinking of getting Switchcraft printed and bound.
But then I thought... what if Elliott releases another supplement? Then I'd have to get it printed again!!!
A few days later, we have another supplement in our inboxes. Am I psychic or is Elliott extremely generous?

I'm really enjoying this series of Impromptu Mental Effects supplements.

Switchcraft - the purchase which just keeps on giving! Elliott also sends freebie updates to those who bought Mindblasters USA from him.

I already purchased Mindblasters from elsewhere (plus I received it as a freebie from someone once because my delivery was delayed - so thats 2 copies I own). So I'm reluctant to purchase it again, but I suspect it would be worth it just for Elliott's supplements.

Do you have any thoughts on the Mindblasters supplements? Are they worth a second purchase in your opinion?

Funny you should say that. I bought Mind Blasters USA some time ago. I received another supplement on Sunday which I'm yet to read through. They don't seem to come as often as Switchcraft but that could just be my fading memory. To me, anything at that price that gets you free supplements is worth every penny - especially considering my last post on a book by Looch costing £290.00!!

An excellent comparison, Elliott keeps on sending free supplements to the purchases and, if I remember right after all these years, Switchcraft didn't cost much in the first place.

I'll have to compare the two supplements and let you know.

That’s a really good question!

Unfortunately, I don’t know the answer, as I haven’t really considered what my MB USA supplements would be worth on their own to someone who bought MB USA from someone else.

I definitely wouldn’t charge $29.95 for them, as a person could buy the much larger Switchcraft for $10 less.

I’ve been really writing the MB USA supplements as a long-term “Thank You” to the people chose to buy MB USA from me.

Here’s what is in the MB USA supplements I sent out so far:

A Living and Dead test
Another Living and Dead test
Notes on the Umbrella Move
A billet read
The Infallible Billet – An idea to use with billet indexes
The Infallible Billet – Without a billet index
A trick for the iForce phone App (or other indexes)
A reprint of Orville Meyer’s “Dead” (for historical context)
Sixteen Variations for Orville Meyer’s “Dead”
Closing Notes – Includes an incredibly good L&D test hidden within
Approximately 16 Rock Paper Scissors tricks and/or ideas
Approximately 8 Holiday Themed Tricks – Mostly for Christmas and Chanukah
An Impromptu Divination Effect with Coins
Another Impromptu Divination Effect – Really a combination of 2 tricks

Thank you,

Elliott

I’ll tell you what…

I like you, as you are one of the few who post about Switchcraft these days.

Therefore, I don’t want you to have to buy the whole MB USA twice, just to get my MB USA supplements.

So, if you send me your email address, I will send you the MB USA supplements I issued so far.

Then you can take all the time you need to read them. It could be a year or more.

If you like anything within, you can pay me what you think it is worth.

If not, you don’t need to send me anything.

The catch is that this offer applies only to you, and (for my convenience) it only lasts one week from today.

Thank you,

Elliott

Thank you Elliott,

That is a very generous offer (probably too generous!). I've sent you a PM with my email.
I am certain I'll find plenty of value in your work.
