They say
HIDE ANYTHING INSIDE A COMPLETELY SEALED TIN CAN!!!

Effect

Take any object that will fit inside the can, and it may be produced at will, from the inside of a completely sealed tin can! Only by using the can opener is the object able to be retrieved!

One man operation... no assistant needed!
Use worldwide with any label!
Instant reset!
Use over and over again!

SUGGESTIONS:
You can change the label to any desired type of can!
Fill the can with food... it looks great to see a ring appear in beans!
The possibilities are endless: ring, watch, bank note, signed card, prediction, keys... the sky is the limit! Use your imagination!
Comes complete with gimmicked can, opener, and detailed instructions explaining how to perform this truly eye-opening illusion!

Can Height Approximately 4 1/4" (11cm)
Can Diameter Approximately 3" (7.5cm)

I Say

I had an attack of jiffy bag rage when I opened this one! I've been doing a range of transposition effects lately so I had high hopes when I ordered this that I would be able to vanish someone's ring and make it reappear inside a can of beans that the spectator would open themselves.

Well it kind of 'does what it says on the tin' but not exactly what I had hoped it would do. On the plus side, if you flash the top of tin around quickly it appears to be sealed on top but after that it gets a bit problematic. You cannot hand the tin opener and tin to a spectator to open themselves. You can't even open it right in front of them. You would have to be up on stage (on your own) for this to work without tipping the gaff.

Where it says 'one man operation' for this read 'you alone can open the tin and be near it as it opens'.

'Use over and over again' - Yes you can but subject to the limitations above which in my opinion are quite restrictive.

So its a pity but all in all I can't see me using this in the real world and I've ordered a salt cellar instead from El-Duco.

Overall 3 out of 10 'not so can-tastic after all!'

Good review.

Recently seen Dynamo do something similar, but he opened the can with the tug thingy that comes on top of cans these days. No can-opener involved. Anyone know where I can get this??

Many thanks,

Alex

I agree that can-tastic can have problems, i only stock it because people have asked for it. You can perform it but there are problems with it at times.

There's a product called "Can-It" which is exactly what you're looking for.
It comes with a can opener, but that's ungimmicked and doesn't need to be used.
Made by Viking, it's very high quality but hard to find.
Retails about £70.
