They say:
A spectator merely THINKS of any card from a regular 52 card deck. A totally free choice. You explain that the card that they are thinking of is in your wallet. It's named and sure enough. It is! It's that clean!
This is a routine that Marc uses in every one of his professional performances as well as featuring in his multi-award winning competition act. Purchase now to receive everything you need to do the very same effect.
I say:
I saw Marc for the first time last November, where he performed in the International Magic Closeup Competition... and won 1st price. He did an excellenent job as a true professional.
When I met him again in Blackpool last month, he asked me to name a card, any card. I said: Hmmm... 7 of Diamonds and he said: I don't have 52 pockets, I don't have 52 wallets, only 1 wallet, 1 envelope in the wallet and... He popped the card out of the envelope and Bang On! It was my 7 of Diamonds. It was as clean as a Mountain Lake.
Of course I bought it and it's actually great! It's quality work, brilliant idea and there is a DVD with it that explains everything you need to know. Preperation, setup, performance, everything. You even get a few different versions of how you can perform it, always Bang On the card chosen. One of the versions is: You hand out a deck of cards and ask the spectator to think of a card. Then to name it out loud and finally to go through the deck and find it. He can't because... you have it in your wallet!
I've been playing a bit around with it, without performing it, untill today. I tried it on a friend and... it almost freaked him out! He just kept on repeating: No way... No way... No fre**ing way!!!
The beauty is that when you open the envelope, you turn it upside down and give it a good shake... and the selected card pops right out of the envelope and into you hand. There is only one card in the darn envelope and it's the selected card! Always!
Difficulty
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)
2 - You have to let the routine flow with the patter and you won't show it 10 minutes after you receive it. But after some practice, you're set to go.
Overall
I want to give it 10/10 but I think I have to pinch a few points off for the price, as it is expensive, but on the other hand, when you get it, you see it's in Marc's spirit: A darn good quality work! So I have to add a few points again, so it ends up with 9,5/10
