I received this as part of a larger order from Magic Depot and I am very pleased. The cup is made of stainless steel and has a nice tone when a coin is dropped into it. It packs small, yet can be used for stage or close-up.
The cup comes with a basic set of ideas structured around the classic Miser's Dream effect (see Bobo' Modern Coin Magic for a version), but I was thinking it has a wider application than this one effect. The cup is easy to handle and there are limitless possibilities for coins appearing and disappearing in the cup.
It would be good for a coin to cup routine, and it seems good for including a card or two as well. For example a card is on your mat next to the cup, you toss a coin into cup, it vanishes, and ends up under the card (a bit like an Okito routine).
Overall, this utility is great. It fits the concept of the Miser and it will age well. Great for street performers, restaurant magicians, and others. With a little imagination, it could be used for interesting billet applications by mentalists and bizarrists.
Based on value for money, I rate this a 10/10!
