You know the bra trick, is one of the most hated effects in magic.( second only to the sponge dong)

and it's far from being new, It dates back to the 1950s.

Prior to the bra trick, davenports put out an effect that produced a bra at the end of it.

this effect was a card trick.

a silk and some ribons were shown, they are wrapped up into a bundle, and given to a spectator to hold.

they then choose a card.

with a great florish, the magician opens the bundle of silks to show that it has shaped it's self into a bikini top.

this bundle is now rolled up, and when its opened once again, the silks are back to normal, with the identity of the chosen card, wrtiien out in ribbon.

ive only ever seen one.

i have that one set in my collection.

Oh dear, I read that as "t&r knickers"... which actually...

Not much point in a T&R knickers trick... I think once the knickers have been "T-ed" people would lose interest in the magic...
