PK rings

which PK rings have a very good magnetic strength ?. iam looking at getting a strong one that will operate my badlands bob.
which one would be the best to work the Badlands Bob

Try the Kinetic ring Steve.. Strongest Ive ever used. Its by Jim Trainer. Normally cost about £ 25, but if you fish around on the second hand forums you may be able to get one cheaper.. 8)

Anyone ever tried the cheap rings they sell on eBay?

It's all from China, I think, but they tend to sell them for absurdly low prices.

Is there a noticeable difference in terms of the magnetic strength?

China is the principle source of neodymium so most PKs will originate there. The gauss level will vary with the different amounts of neo used. Thicker rings tend to be more powerful but if you only need minimal attraction, as for a shimmed card, then the thicker ones may be a hindrance.
