The Outlaw wallet does not employ, a Stealth gaff, a Caper Case gaff, an Insight gaff, or a gaff like any other existing wallet. The card goes in, you put the wallet away, the work is done.

You DO NOT have to reopen the wallet to get the peek!

You DO NOT have to remove a card to get the peek!

The Outlaw has two inner pockets and an I.D. window (perfect place to keep your Sanctum card).

The card to be peeked goes in the inner pocket in front of a card ALREADY in the pocket AND in front of another pocket that has TWO cards in it. So, in effect, the peek card is now in front of three other cards AND another pocket! Nothing could appear more fair.

This is the exact same position the card will be in when you open your wallet and pull it out with a prediction already on the card.

The Outlaw Wallet allows you to P.W. or swami directly onto a card in the wallet, without having to open the wallet to do it!

The peek area is a full 3/4 of the card, enough to easily do a drawing dup!

The P.W. area is also a full 3/4 of the card!

I say:
The Outlaw wallet (actually a leather business card case) works as described.

You obtain your information after the case is closed. If done well this type of thing appears like a miracle to spectators.

The case itself is BEAUTIFUL! It is made from smooth, supple black leather with no brass corners. It is subtle elegance personified. It would look fine being taken out of an Armani suit or a denim jacket. The stitching is tight and the plastic “windows” are crisp and clear with no wrinkles or any colour distortion

You receive the wallet in a plain brown envelope (very appropriate for such a powerful mentalism tool). The instructions are to the point. You are given the basic workings and types of applications as well as credits for those who have inspired and assisted the makers as well as instructions on how to join the Outlaw users forum…very nice.

I love not having to open a wallet again for a peek. I have never had a problem about doing so, it’s nice to have the choice.

The case comes with a club membership card in it and lo and behold…my name was on the membership card!! This is a really nice touch.

The ability to write on a card is brilliant and the technicalities that allow this are very clever indeed. This really is a fantastic tool to have in your mentalism arsenal. It won’t be all things to everyone but flippin’ heck it’ll be very sweet to have this on my person when I head out!

Overall:
The Outlaw is not a trick, nor is itself-working. Outlaw is a serious mentalism tool for serious mentalism performing. The casual performer will have fun with Outlaw as it is very easy to use and the professional will be able to wield it like a sword.

Outlaw is a proper tool for powerful routining. Considering the price, the quality and what it does, you would be very silly to do anything less than seriously considering the Outlaw if you are in the market for a peek case.

dude - how would you say it compared to the STEALTH (or ASSASSIN)?

Well...it isn't a wallet for one. It is a credit card case.

Stealth shares little in common with Outlaw and I haven't played with a Assassin wallet yet so I can't answer that, although what I know of Assassin there are minor similarities.

If you are up for hijinks and Capers...your well supplied. (shhhh)

Now before anyone asks, this is my first ever peek wallet therefore I can't really say how it compares with the Stealth Assasain, Mindspy or any of the other ones on the market.

What I can say is that mine arrived last week and I'm already loving it. As Tom has rightly said, it is well made, ingenious, subtle, elegant and is a great tool for the performer. The price was a steal and it is the perfect place to keep my Sanctum, Kioku and business cards (without taking up loads of room in my already bulging pockets).

The fact that I keep these cards inside it also gives me a perfect reason to subtley introduce it into a routine.

The personalised membership card is a nice touch as well (I wonder if we're all member #395 of if that's a genuine headcount)?

I will point out that like any tool of mentalism this item is only as good as the performer, if you treat it like it's special you will probably get caught but if you handle it casually and normally (almost) like you would a normal card wallet, you probably won't.

To sum up this is a seriously cool bit of kit and definitely something I will enjoy having in my arsenal.

It's been a while since this thread was last added to, so I thought I'd pop down some thoughts on the Outlaw Wallet, which I've had for about a week now.

Firstly, I agree 100% with everything that's been written about the Outlaw so far - it's a very, VERY clever utility, that you'll want to carry on your person on a daily basis.

Peek, Swami and folded card/billet load...all in one...for THAT price?

I knew I had to get this, and I certainly wasn't disappointed - it's SUPERB; really well-made from high-quality leather, and very cleverly gaffed-up-the-wazoo

As already mentioned, the very fact that the Outlaw can happily contain a set of Kioku cards AND your Sanctum card is a huge plus in it's favour. If you're considering this wallet (and you really, really should!, I'd HIGHLY recommend getting these items from Rick at the same time (if you don't own them already). Without them, the Outlaw is amazingly-versatile...with them, it becomes a complete Mentalism performance, all wrapped up in one, tiny wallet.

10/10 - no hesitation

I have recevied the Outlaw Panther.

Very similar to the Outlaw from what I hear... only made from a slightly less expensive leather so its a bit cheaper at $45.

The one addition that the panther has to the Outlaw is that it has a zipper compartment which is a nice little convincer, and this zipper compartment can be used to steal billets, load billets, peek business cards, load mercury folded cards.. its uses are quite versatile.. and all done under the specs nose!!

The regular gaff for the peek is very clever. and simple. Card goes in.. you close the wallet and you have the information there and then. I havent checked the forum, but the peek I came up with is done well before I put the wallet away, which is nice.

And yes.. even though it appears a little smaller , it still holds the sanctum card and a little trim of the kioku cards, it should hold them aswell!!
