Trick- D'Lites

Effect-With the lights down low, you reach into your pocket and pull out a glowing sphere. Holding the luminescent sphere between your right thumb and forefinger for all to see, you pause for a moment before placing the sphere in your left hand. You reach back into your pocket, pull out another glowing sphere and place it alongside the first sphere in your left hand. You pull a third sphere out of your pocket and place it in your left hand with the others. OK, cool effect but nothing too tricky… until you put three spheres in your left ear and pull them out of your mouth, or your other ear... You can make the glowing spheres vanish and re-appear anywhere you like.

INCREdible. You won't beleif the reaction you get with them at dances. clubs and school talent shows. It really freaks people out. They almost S*@t thier pants. You can eat the lights and a buch of stuff .

Ya D'lites are EXTREMELY easy to perform, and get good reatctions... especially from kids! Adults seem to like them to, but the downside is that if they are used in the light, it is a bit easier to be found out.

You don't want to get too hung up about how dark / light a room is. I have used them in quite light situations and as with a TT they just aren't noticed. I was queuing at a staircase on a car ferry waiting to get off one day and my brother was with me. As we reaced a cigarette machine with a red light on it I caught his attention, pulled one out from my pocket "took" a piece of red light and swallowed it. A number of people all around gasped! The lights were full on and there were dozens of people within a foot of me and nobody had any idea how I did it!

Yes thats true, but the lights dont glow as much in a light atmosphere. Also, I'm not one of those people who think that a TT will never be spotted even if its yellow and green. I think that TTs are very easy to see and I worry about ghetting caought with them.

I don't know why but when I first saw these advertised they reminded me of those boncy balls that lit up when they hit the floor.

What kind of level of hand sleight do you need for these? They do seem kind of interesting.

And more importantly if the magic fails can you use them as bouncy balls?

Too you Spyda TT's are easy to see because you are looking for them, its amazing what people don't see when they don't know what to look for. If you haven't already I suggest trying a TT, you may be pleasently surprised.

No, I have a TT, but I've had people see them before. I still use it on occasion, but not much because of this.

I'm not overly convinced that something like a D'Lite can really "fool" an adult, so I've not really gone down that road with mine.

I look upon them more as a "novelty item" but cannot take them seriously as a display of "magic".

They are however, great for amusing the the kids. Taking a light out of one kids ear, sticking it up your nose, out anothers elbow, etc. They even managed to keep my little girl jumping up and down with excitement on bonfire night as I grabbed bits of firework light out of the sky.

As a diversion these are great but as a serious bit of magic "kit"...I'm not convinced....yet...

They're about as magical as sticking a cigarette up one nostril and pulling it out of your ear. Not exactly magic but certainly very entertaining if done well!

True, they're not "magic", but if you're in a tight spot and being obliged to "do something for the kids", they're about 10 minutes and a whole lot of easy!

Yeah, I got some unexpectedly today too. I've wanted some to mess around with for a while, especially after getting my brother some for his birthday. Then I pitched up at my mum's and she had a pair going spare, as she'd got them for a friend for Christmas but they hadn't arrived in time. They're not Dlites, they're "Magic Finger"s, but honestly, who gives a rat's ass...

Yeah, I've seen a kid at the library with these before. The only problem I have with these is that they sell them like crazy at this magic kiosk in the mall. So much for secrecy...
