My complaint was more against the kind of sigs that are overly distracting and obstruct normal browsing of the page. As seige pointed out, sigs like tomo's, and yours are subtle and non-obtrusive.

Or talkmagic could go the other route? Re-theme the entire site. I could make a nice one with some dancing hamsters and rotating skulls!

Rest assured that any sigs where there are concerns have been removed by the member or by the Mods and all is very peaceful in terms of image sigs currently in use!

Now there's an idea, how about a nice pink theme?

...well I can try can't I? :D

:D

I like your sig too. V. mysterious and sophisticated.

And it's only 27k. Mind you, the first operating system I ever worked with, CP/M 2.2, was only 17k long - that's an entire operating system!

The first application I ever wrote was a 'Hello world' running on a 1k ZX80.

And yes, you could even play games running at 1k.

The world is a crazy place.

Those were the days. I had a draughts game written in machine code that fitted into 1k (well, the 700 or so bytes before the screen RAM!) on my ZX81.

In my opinion much better Joe. Just ask yourself when you change your sig "Will this distract people from reading the forum?"

Joe...

I will be blunt here (which I am afraid I am renowned for), but why do you feel the need to have a signature AND an avatar?

Being honest, the signature is doing nothing but clog the page up.

I'm not being nasty, rude or obstructive here... just asking you, does that signature reflect anything about yourself? Does it have a purpose?

Nope...

Less is more, I think.

joe your sig is ok, but look at the two above, tomo's is advertising his product by arrangment with the bosses and is shorter and less impacting than yours.
Lady of Mystery's is also not so high and portrays her type of magic, yours says to me your possibly a masked magician and judging by the bold gold colour and your coin in your profile a coin worker, it also sugests to me that you put yourself before others, in the mines bigger than yours type view.

I'm sure your just making yourself noticed and as i don't know your age or experience, though your log in name suggestss your only 14, I'm not going to make a kid reference, i'll just say this most women prefer width to length, thats why so many japanese wome have smiles on there faces. :D
