This is more of a question rather than a suggestion, aimed at the mods. Is it possible to change your user name either yourself or by asking very nicely? I, like probably a few other people on here wouldn't mind changing my user name. I know that it doesn't mean a lot but I wouldn't mind something a little more personal than what it is now.

If not then it's not such a big deal, just a thought.

I can't see any way to do it with the buttons that I've got but Mandrake might be able to.

At one time each user could change their names as often as they wished but, as you might suspect, several idiots misused the facility so it was removed. The good news is that, as Lady of Mystery says, I can change usernames for you, just PM me with the new name and I'll do it asap. Be ready to use either the existing or new names just in case I haven't logged on to see the PM or make the changes. Before selecting a new name it might be an idea to check that the name isn’t already in use by a current member. If it’s registered by someone who hasn’t visited TM for years then that’s no problem, old names can be reused with all your posting history etc transferred at the same time.
