Why have I only just read this thread? I've been bored senseless the past few weeks during my break from uni and that place isnt that far from me.

Thank's for the kind words. It was a great evening. It was nice to finally put faces to names.

I believe we gained more in the small time we were together sessioning (is this a word?) due to the less formal and casual atmosphere.

The next Tao meet will be on the 1st May.

Second meeting was excellent, only 4 of us this time due to weather and other commitments but we had 4 hours of intense discussion, demos, sharing of ideas and routines as well as a rather tasty chicken wrap thing & chips!

The book test went very well indeed, no props, no gimmicks, just a totally free selection of any of the four books I took along - as this was based on a routine published many years ago it shows there's still plenty of mileage in the older works. The business side of magic came under discussion in great detail so, all in all, another superb evening. Next meet: May 15th - can't wait!!

We really need a webcast of these meets.
