Hello all,

A few Brighton based magicians and myself meet every week in The Western Front.
We meet each Tuesday evening, from about 7PM.
Anyone in Brighton feel free to join us each Tuesday, you'll find us upstairs, we're the table covered in decks of cards.

thanks,

Sam

Ah I was looking for a magic meet-up in my local area (well that's Bexhill so not quite local, but whatever). Is this still going on??

Yep you can park in the car park for the Churchill Square Mall which is next door to the Western Front pub.

Is it okay if I come along with my "non-magic" friend?

Just a heads up - we now meet at the North Laine Brewery (website below) still on Tuesdays.
People generally arrive between 7 and 8pm.

I really must make it down one Tuesday, particularly now you're in a pub with decent beer.

Yes you should join us. However every 2nd and 4th week of the month we go to bar 56 on George Street where it is a kind of magic open mic night. Unfortunately there isn't much of an audience yet, but we hope it will get busier.
So tomorrow we will probably meet at north laine at 7, then head to bar 56 for 8pm.

Just seen this thread, I'm in Worthing.
Is there a meeting this tuesday at the North Laine Brewery, how many peeps generally attend.
Hopefully I can make it this week?

Hi Johnny,

I've only just seen your message.
we meet at the north laine brewery every Tuesday now (the bar 56 night no longer runs),
there are usually 4 of us, occasionally less, and often more (up to 10)

I hope you can make it, if you want, PM me and I can give you my phone number so you can find us or check that people are actually there that Tuesday (we've only missed 1 meeting all year...)

Hey,

i'll be there this Tuesday from about 7:30 PM. A couple of the others said they are coming, and I haven't heard from the rest.

The full address:
North Laine Brewery, 27 Gloucester Pl, Brighton, East Sussex BN1 4AA

I don't drive so I can't really advise about parking, but I checked google maps and it seems the nearest car park is London Road car park at BN1 4UP, about 5 mins walk. Alternatively you may be able to find parking on some side streets. The train station is also about 5 - 10 minutes walk away, so you could possibly park there.

How well do you know Brighton?
