Tony Strange and myself have been talking about forming a new society in our area, and Tony last week had a half page feature in the Grantham Journal and set the ball rolling.

So, with great pleasure I am here to announce to you all the first meeting of the Grantham Guild of Magicians, on Tuesday 4th September, at 7.30 pm, at the Fox and Hounds, Old Somerby, just off the A52 near Grantham in Lincolnshire.

We are hoping to build a politics free society that has all members as equals, meeting to discuss, learn and enjoy Magic.

Anyone over the age of 14 is welcome, regardless of skill level or performance status.

Our ultimate aim is for the Grantham Guild of Magicians to host top lecturers and dealers, and to become known as a friendly society of equals pushing forward the Art and Appreciation of Magic.

Hopefully, we'll see a few of you in a couple of weeks!
