Farewell Jack Parker

From Andi Gladwin's site:

Jack Parker passed away at 7.40pm last night.

It is no exaggeration to say that Jack will be remembered as one of the best card magic creators of our time. He was an inspiration to many card magicians and showed just what it takes to develop a great magic trick. We owe a lot to this man and I am glad that I was able to tell him that before he passed on.

Goodbye Jack. We’ll never forget you.

That really is terrible. I had heard he was ill, but to hear this news... :(

He really was an excellent creator. A sad loss in every respect.

I think it's very sad that only you reacted to that news....it tells a lot about sort of people visiting this forum... :(

A trully sad loss for magic community....let's just hope Andi will "bundle" Jack's material in some sort of "Complete Walton" kind of way....

Jack will be missed, he was a heck of a magician and a heck of a man.
It is my understanding that Andi intends to compile Jack's work, for those who are interested.
