I remember watch Hans Moretti on the Paul Daniels show in the 80's. he always amazed me, notably his own disregard to his own (and families) safety. I would like to think I can see how most tricks and illusions are done, but one Saturday Mr Moretti did something that 25/30 later still sticks in my mind.
Now please bare with me. Unless my my childish mind missed something, this is what happened-

Hans took a knife (what looked like a hunting dagger) and stabbed it thru the middle of his arm. By middle I mean between the two bones, not thru the side like the normal Knife Thru Arm Trick. He wiggled it about it bit, the pulled it out and wrapped a towel around his arm

Does anyone else remember this?

I seen this back around 1986-7 and it has always stuck in my mind how weird it was, No build up or anything just a quick stab straight through then sort of dragged the knife up and down his forearm a bit pulled it out draped a towel around it bowed and walked off.

I have never seen it again and cant find any videos anywhere.

EDIT: After typing the above i found the video quite easily but was unable to edit my post due to having to wait for it to be approved, After seeing the video again i obviously had seen it back in 86 through rose tinted glasses as now i can see how bad and amateurish it really was.

Neither Hans nor Helga are still with us any more. but they have the distinction of appearing on the Paul Daniels show more often than any other guests. A truly memorable act.
