According to the Radio Times website (http://www.radiotimes.com) this series has now ended - even though the sign off wording included 'join us next time for more' so it’s either an indication of another series or a somewhat optimistic phrase.

Weirdly the same site show series 1 as being the 8 shows aired last year, then just 3 as series 2 and another 3 as series 3. However the BBC TV site shows those last 6 all as series 2. Very strange!!!

I managed to miss all of these shows but that might have been a good thing by the sounds of it... Hopefully the beeb might start to show some good magic shows soon!!

The clips they showed were good, it was the 'voice over' which spoiled things.

Ah, I see. Well, I might try to watch it from the start and try to just focus on the clips!

And it gets worse.... this has now been hacked down to ten minute bites and shown on the children's channel CBBC - being broadcast this week and also as downloads. Looking on the bright side I suppose it might encourage a few more youngsters to dip into magic!

Having now watched several of these magic bites I take back a lot of the negativity in what I posted above  The shorter format actually works well and even the inane commentary doesn't seem quite so annoying!
