Just read this whole thread as only just joined the forum and am shocked to hear about it.
I will with great interest read all the post's allen wrote and he sounded like a very respected person and very knowledgeable R.I.P

Gosh! That's terrible news, I'm so rarely on here nowadays and I only just noticed this. It's made me so sad. Although I only ever met Allen online, he was always a proper gentleman and had a wealth of knowledge that he gave freely. Rest peacefully my friend.

12 months today since Allen died. His input and presence is sorely missed. RIP Allen.

Has it really been 12 months? He has been and still is missed but I like to think that he's looking down on us all and helping and guiding as he always did.

you have helped so many.... and will continue to do so....... fate cannot diminish who you are.... take comfort that your legacy will go on in many hearts including mine.

RIP Allen.

3 years on already. I’ve lost count of the times I’ve read various posts here and thought, ‘What would Allen say, what would Allen advise?’ Still thinking of you and your family Allen, rest in peace old chum.

Last night I was following links on some of the older threads and, hey presto, all of them included some very helpful advice and thoughts from Allen. Four years on and he's still helping, R.I.P. Allen.

It's amazing how often I stumble across little gems from Allen
