Hi there
I'm posting in the hope someone can come to my aid. I'm looking for creative ideas for a marriage proposal, something off the wall, memorable and that my partner will remeber for ever. Just wondering if that was anything any of guys could help with , I'm planning this in central London in early march . being part of this would be awesome so hoping someone can help.
Thanks in advance magic type people

Cheers

Hi and welcome to TM. As we don't know much about you or your good lady its difficult to advise but there are several previous threads on magical proposals - one is at ftopic45585.php which might be of some help. In effect, be very wary of using magic as the ladies may very well prefer something less showy and more personal and romantic.

Can I be totally honest with you? I'd say leave the magic alone and instead make the whole thing as romantic as possible. If you're anything like most of us here, your fiance has probably had to endure countless, 'hey can I just show you something cool' and sit through who knows how many practice performances. So unless the magic really is something that she'd love (and most girls don't fit in that category) I'd suggest making it as romantic and special as possible.

Thanks for the advice people - its more making the event into a bit of theater which she'll absolutely love... To be clear, I'm able to 'perform' any type of magic, I'm an intrigued observer and would be looking to commission someone like your good selves to make this happen. The romance will certainly be there but the 'event' needs to be wow! and she'll love it I'm sure.

Well, a bit of entertainment from a third party would be nice (as long as it isn't an Elvis lookalike!) and would leave you free to bring in the romance!

I have seen various videos of magicians doing this marriage proposal thing. It is often a third party thing ie: another magician doing something or other to pop the question for you.

I am with the Lady of Mystery.

Leave the magic out of what should be a great, life-changing moment.
