I have heard the name, but can only really guess it's purpose from the name.

If you have one, how about giving us a bit of a review on it?

okay well very easy to handle as its totaly self working bassicly what it does is changes cards things like that example:
a card sandwich with one card turned sideways is put on the table and left in full view the spectator picks a card from the deck and signs it
you rip their card up and show themthe card that was sandwiched was a joker you the take the joker and wave it over the peices of their signed card you turn the card in your hand over and you are now holding their signed card fully restored and the peices on the table are from the joker!

buy this trick

Do you have it Luke? If so, can you tell me is it so kind of mechanical switcher, or is it sleight of hand?

Sounds like a neat gimmick. Having said this, there are ways of accomplishing this trick with sleights, but if the gimmick is that good (and cheap enough), then it's certainly worth a look.

Thanks for the info Luke.

Seriously thinking of getting one.

While on the subject anyone know where I can find a basic card box bycycle size with a false plate?

Yes silly me, we're talking about a card changer aren't we, not a deck changer!

Looks good, sorry I don't know the name of the person who gave the brief routine you can do with this case but could you or someone else add more to it as you don't actually mention what part of the trick the card changer is used in?

Sam's Switcher

Postby Johnny Bravo » Jan 4th, '06, 15:54

I'm not sure if this topic is reffering to Sam's Switcher or another kind of Switcher.

Anyway with regards to Sam's Switcher I've just recieved this from http://www.topsecretmagic.co.uk/main.html (Speedy service by the way)

£4 for four.

Basically it's an envelope, small pay packet type. The quality is excellent, these are gonna last a fair few uses & at a pound each they ain't expensive. They come with detailed instructions & approx 10 or so routines/tricks which at this point I haven't read. Paper, playing/esp cards of similar can be vanished or changed or they can be used for reveals.

Definatly worth £4 of anyones money. For what it is & how it works 10/10
