R B Coin Deck

Postby mistress of magic » Aug 28th, '03, 19:47

This deck allows you to have a spectator select a card and place the card on top of the deck. The deck is cut and the performer can easily cut to the card which has a coin on top of it. I use this with scotch and soda by telling them to shake the fist with the copper coin in it at the deck, then I bet them 20p the coin has jumped into the deck. I win my 20p and they get to help me find the coin by selecting a card and then just do as described above.
Try emagic where it's priced at £23.95(I don't know where you can find a cheeper one). It's a bit fidgety and not advisable for a quick trick or for street magic but when it runs smoothly it's great. It's pretty much self working but requres a bit of practice to get it running smoothly.

does the coin come with this? *curious as hell*

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure the coin I use was the copper one that came with scotch & soda, but you can use any coin you like.

MoM...

This is not intended as a 'dig', but could you be a bit more explicit with your reviews?

I've moved a couple of your posts from the reviews section already, as they are far from reviews, more like 'I bought 'xxx' and it's good'.

Check out Mog's template in the main review area...

Like I said, I'm not being picky, just 'doing 'me job'!!! - which is to try and keep some consistency in the Reviews area.

But, keep up the good work...
