The Art of IT by Jon LeClaire

Postby Dar_Kwan » Jan 26th, '04, 13:49

Having received this book just over a week ago, just before I went on vacation, and having enjoyed it immensly, I decided to write a review on it as soon as I returened. Only to find that it is now out of print. Mr LeClaire is planing on concentration rather on producing DVD/Videos.

So considering this fact I submit for your perusal(?SP) the following review of the book

Jon LeClaire is considered as on of the top in the IT field & reading the book you feel like you are at on of his lectures, the explanations are clear & concise(?SP) & they are accompanied by excellent diagrams.

Not only does he explain how to employ his LeClaire Animator, an ingenouse hook-up, but provides several trick to start you down the road, he also explains in detail how to extract IT from pantyhose, what lighting is best for IT & several other nuances(?SP) of IT Work.

As if this isn't enough included with the book are some high quality Elastic IT & Flesh coloured putty - both used by Jon LeClaire himself in his routines (the putty is supposed to last about 3 years of constant usage)

After finishing the book I felt ready to tackle IT, but due to the fact that my finger nail isn't long enought to use the LeClair Animator I will have to wait a couple of weeks for it to grow *sigh*

If this is how well he describes his work in print I can only Imagine how great seeing his stuff on DVD would be...
