The Effect: Omega

There are two packets of cards placed on to the table. One packet is face up displaying four aces and the other packet is left face down, but spread showing that there are four cards then closed up into a pile. The spectator is asked to think of one of the face up cards. These four face up aces are taken behind your back and ask them to name their thought of ace. The cards are brought forward showing that their named ace is now face down. Not that amazing. The cards that have been face down are now spread showing that one card is face up, the matching named ace!!

Now the face up aces in the spectators packet are turned over to show that the backs are a different colour to the face down card. The magicians face up ace is then turned over to show that it has a different colour back to the other cards in its packet.

The finale is the spectators face down card (supposedly an ace) is turned over to show a blank card. The magician then turns over his remaining face down cards showing more blank faces.

And everything can be left for examination.

Cost - £10 Kaymar Magic

Difficulty 3
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)

Not difficult but you have to be bold!

Review

When I was shown this trick I was amazed and baffled as I knew how Twisted Sisters worked. So as always the purchase had to be made before leaving the shop. What can I say about this trick it is great. Each phase builds on the last and it becomes a real head scratcher for the spectator. Requiring no specials cards mean that if any of the cards get lost or damaged they can easily be replaced. Possibly not for everyone but yet again Stephen Tucker's mind pull another great idea out of the bag.

Overall

9/10 A visual stunner, completely baffles the audience (when performed correctly), instantly resets, no gimmicks and easily carried around in your wallet.

That sounds good, I like Twisted sisters but a more baffling version with ordinary cards would be right up my street.
