hey i recently purshed daryls Ambitious card.......i watched it and found out its great DVD. Filled with new wasy to bring the card to the top. And the last part of the trick. ooooo if you thought the 'Pop Up' trck with the ambitious card was good then you yourself will be blown away with the final part of this. He tears a corner of puts the card in middle of deck then wraps the deck in rope and makes the card rise to the top. All i can say about this is its a must have DVD for close up magicians. I suggest if you dont have it buy it.

Ben: can you elaborate slightly on the review - I know I for one am hungry for more info...

Like: What's taught - sleights/moves
How difficult: easy, intermediate, pro
Quality: is it filmed well, and can we learn one at a time, or is it just a continuous presentation
Features: Is it just the ambitious card taught, or does the DVD go into more detail
Cost and where to buy: Where did you buy it, and how much did it cost
Rating: how well did it score with you?

It's a great DVD that's filled with loads of great stuff, variations, techniques, and slight of hand moves. I read in a website that the skill level for this one is level 4 (magicians only). I personally don't agree with that because I mastered the moves pretty quickly. Perhaps it's because I'm an experienced card magician (I don't think I am because I'm into card magic for about 3 years). Daryl teaches you a couple of variations of doing double lifts. He shows you his way of doing a DL, and a snap DL (not an east move, but I've mastered it).
If you've struggled with double lifts and still do, get this DVD.

I give it 5/5. Excellent!!!!

BTW- that's my first DVD I purchased.
