Im not sure if this trick was already discussed or not. One really easy card trick is called Phil. What you do is ask a spectator to thinks of any card and u'll name. Then after they thought of one, you'll say "ok im gonna name ur card Phil, you know short for Philip" They won't be impressed, until you show them that all the cards have a different name written on the back. You then ask them to name their card and their card has the name Phil on the back. I give this trick a 9 of of 10 rating, mostly because its really really easy to do and u really can't mess it up.( If u havent done this trick, u probably don't know how its done, this deck is completely different from other gimmicked decks) The ease of the deck allows u to use all ur time to develop an excellant patter. However, the downside of the trick is that ( even though its done differently and fool proof) its like many other card tricks out there where there is something special about the card the spectator picked(i.e. name written on the back) but then again people really love this trick!

I've got that trick and I find it great for a quick warm up miracle. The only problem is that when the spectators ask you to do it again you can't without giving the game away( like the Svengali Cards).It's a great trick but I wouldn't say it was worth the money(12.50)!!! You can get much better tricks for the money i.e- Floating credit card. Don't let this put you off, but think twice before buying this trick

I do resteraunt work 3 nights a week and use Phil as a closer it aways gets a good laugh then blows them away. I highly thins it's great.
