Bit different from some of the other stuff reviewed here, but here goes:

Type - silks/stage magic - especially good for kids shows!

Difficulty - 2/5

Examinable - not really - but then the audience doesn't see the need to examine it - the prop is such that they can see right through the perspex cylinder, and you show the covering cylinders empty before and after (see below for effect).

Reset - need some privacy for this!

Effect: show audience two empty cylinders. one fits inside the other and they both fit neatly over a clear plastic tube that stands vertically on a base. remove both cylinders, and stuff three or four silks into the clear tube. replace the first cylinder, followed by the second, and when removed the silks have changed to spring flowers or balls or oranges, or whatever else fits into the cylinder...

Review. its quite an expensive prop, but the effect is awesome. i use it in my kids shows, and it is usually the trick that draws the most inspired response from the little darlings. it's a fairly easy effect to use, so you can concentrate on the performance and the acting that goes into making an effect a piece of magic.
