Hi Sorenotes,
It's good to hear that everything finally worked out for you. It's also good to hear that you managed to fool your wife with this effect, as they are always the hardest to deceive

!

Hi Slippery,
I'm from Hampshire but got the bottle from a pub/restaurant I visited with the wife and kids; asked for a water for the youngest and when I saw them open the bottle I thought hello that bottle looks just what I needed and promptly told the girl serving that I didn't require a glass

!!!! so keep an eye out slippery you never know, saying that I'm sure there are numerous bottles out there that do the job just as well

I really want to get this trick, but it doesn't seem practical enough to do with most bottles. I think I will just stick with the coin through soda can illusion!

just bought this trick and had a little practice, excellent thinking gone into it.
i also think it may be possible to do with a wine bottle that is not clear, need to try my theory out first though.

Ok.. I just got this illusion from the and I found everything I needed to perform it in my kitchen. Within 10 minutes I tried it in front of my family and I didn't even think I did it that well but they had NO clue. This really is the most magical coin thru the bottle I've ever seen!!!
Love this illusion!

Can a beer bottle be used? (even using a v small coin like a five pence piece)?
The reason I ask is that there arent many other bottles around student pubs and flats so need to be able to use beer bottles!
thanks

Beer bottle? No. And sorry if it is to much exposury (pls delete in that case). If its a cap bottle, people will suspect you, not gonna say why. And it will be hard to do with a beer bottle anyway, due to a thing. I say: Try use a similiar bottle as Kevin uses in demo vid.
