Hi everyone,

Thanks for your replies, it seems that the boxes can be opened or unopened depending where you buy from. The corners on my deck seem to have been cut in suits, so that when the cards are shuffled some corners stick out about a 1mm more than others, and some 1mm less, so it looks quite obvious. Handy for cutting to a particular suits though!

I've just recieved an email from the supplier who's happy to swap or refund, so no problems there.

Thanks again for all your help.

Maybe they were made by hand and done in suits? That would explain the differences, if the guillotine used wasn't up to doing a whole deck in one go.

That sounds about right. The retailer I bought them from has said he now has concerns about his whole stock of strippers and has let me keep the deck for free, so thats a result.

I had no idea there were problems finding quality strippers!!

Individual decks, about forty or fifty, different types, two or three.

There are definate advantages to working in a magic shop!
