That was me trying to hint that he studies computer science. I didn't want to give the game away.

Might buy it anyway....

I would have a look at it for you, but to be honest I don't know which bit ur talking about. :?

I can't remember there being anything in pure effect that uses a method anywhere close, but I could have missed it?

I must say, I have never had anyone figure it out. I'm not saying that because it's my effect.
Unless you read Leo Boudreau or you are a computor programmer you will have no clue. Trust me!

To be really honest I don't have any aquaintences that even know what a binary number is! ( I must hang with a really dim crowd )

Do it for magicians, They definately don't know about binaries!

I don't have the first printing of Pure Effect (like you do, apparently, you swine), so I don't know the specific method for Reminiscence. However, my understanding is that it's a 'dual reality' thing: by definition, a dual reality-based effect needs at least two people (besides the performer) for it to work. Kioku isn't dual reality, and can be done for one person, alone, with absolutely no problem at all. Thus, mighty logic leads me to conclude that Kioku and Reminiscence use different methods. The only way I can imagine their being the same is if you 'did' Kioku on the spec pre-show/out of sight/in the lavatory, but 'performed' it only in front of onlookers. Even so, that would increase its impact rather than being crucial for it to have any impact at all.

A binary is like a cannery except they put stuff in bins instead of cans.

No idea but if you have many of them, isn't it a lottery?

Great, thanks so much. However, I must also say I hate you because now I'm going to have to buy it. Damn C.U.P.S.

It will always work. My computer science friend worked it out though. Most however will not.

But it will always work.... unless they lie.

New server

Postby Roth » May 21st, '06, 19:43

Just a heads up for anyone interested. We had to go to a new server this weekend for the Outlaw site.
The site is running but may look a little strange for a couple of hours.

So you boys all know, there is now only one version of Kioku, the U.k. friendly version.
