No... they all ran out of money and did a couple of shows together... but then they got the money they needed and still refuse to speak to each other :(
I was gonna go see them, but by the time I had enough money the tickets were all gone.

Next time a magician does a self levitation trick, I think they should use the song "Levitate Me" as the music

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

Sorry to butt in...

I've gone for other/mix. I like rock (pretty much the entire range, I've got a real soft spot for classic rock) and metal mostly.

I've most recently been listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers 'cos I'm trying to learn bass and Flea is pretty damn good but the CDs I have in my car are a mix of Foo Fighters, Ash, Motorhead, Green Day, Queen, David Bowie, Meatloaf and Lost Prophets.

I have real dificulty remembering the names of bands and songs though; I know if I like it but you can be fairly sure I haven't got a clue who it is!

I've gone for a mix but with a high preference for 'classic rock' and listen a lot to bands such as Queen, Rush, Asia, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, ELO, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult and the Cars to name only a few.

I then go through stages when I'm back listening to the music of my youth which was the Punk era and listen to the Damned, Boomtown Rats, XTC Blondie (yes, they started as a punk / new wave band), Stiff Little Fingers, the Undertones and the Stranglers. Never did like the Clash too much

Fortunately I've changed all of my vinyl and cassettes into digital format now so it's easy to call them up and listen to them on the PC through media player.

I went for mix, but I mostly like rock.

I've just realised I missed a couple of the important ones off, Opera and Classical. Both of which I like. Also a big fan of Musicals (Phantom, Les Mis, Jekyll and Hyde, Chicago...etc)

Favourite Bands: Brand New, Papa Roach, Fall out Boy, Placebo, My dying bride, Akaline Tri, Korn...

I have this annoying habit of being converted to music I hate as well, ie Metallica and Linkin Park. Evil boyfriend

Hmm okay then. Faith No More are the ultimate. In fact, practically anything with Mike Patton in it is great, so that includes Tomahawk, Mr. Bungle and most especially his new album with his new band, Peeping Tom.

Aside from those, Trivium, Rage Against the Machine, Mastodon, Machine Head, Dillinger Escape Plan, At the Drive In, some Finch, System of a Down, Red Hot Chili Peppers (yes, despite all of the FNM conflicts), Nirvana...and I could go on but they're pretty much it for the moment and I'm guessing most people stopped reading a while ago now :D.

Nickj, you're awesome! I love Lostprophets! I'm half welsh and saw the LP in 2004 and they were absolutely amazing! They have a new album coming out fairly soon so you wanna look out for it! I believe on their myspace profile you can here their new son, Rooftops which is great. I love the chilis as well but not going to see them either as I'm going to hyde park soon to see the foos and motorhead! [i think queens of the stone age and angels and airwaves are palying too]. The new chili pepper album is great, love every song, it does however get a bit annoying when you're trying to find you way to Nottingham whilst listenbing to both discs of Stadium Arcadium.

I had to vote for Rock although I do like a bit of a mixture I suppose

A few bands I'm into at the mo are: Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, W.A.S.P., Magnum, Reo Speedwagon, Asia, Europe, Rainbow, Poison, Bryan Adams, Quireboys, Journey/Steve Perry, U2 (the old stuff - don't care much for their new stuff tbh  ), Simple Minds...... and prolly lots more .... brain starting to hurt now

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

I cant really choose a genre. My ipod contains 2500 tracks and has everything ranging from The Prodigy, Kanye West to the Clash, back to Michael Jackson, and all the way to classical. Quite partial to a bit of Abba and The Pet Shop boys aswell.

Geez, well, i guess im going to have to go for the Other category, my entire collection is either Rock or Metal. Let me think.....

Greenday (Milton Keynes gig last june was the best gig i've ever been to), Red Hot Chilli Peppers (what does everyone think of their new album? I dont have it yet), Metallica, Korn, Trivium, Avenged Sevenfold, 36 Crazyfists, Guns and Roses, Tool, Head Automatica, Drowning Pool, System of a Down, Foo Fighters (Seeing them in Manchester on 18th June!)......

That'll do, theres more but im drawing a blank here!

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...
