Nice :D

I really need to get some more culture. Does Buffy count as culture?

Actually, I've got some Pinter classics on my bookshelves so I'm all set for the moment 8).

Billy Elliot, good film from what I remember. Meant to watch that but forgot.

I'm waiting for Quizmania as well. Can't bring myself to open a new deck. My mind doesn't want to admit that my current deck is too old to work with properly grrr. After I get round that its back to practicing my DL and the smoothness of my double undercut =)

Got my list ready that I want to learn as well. A couple of effects I can already remember, I'm just practicing. Ambitious Card still needs to be learned (thus the DL practice) as well as 3 Card Monte (I'm looking up 2 Card Monte as well but I can't find a video yet). Once I get better I'm going to try and move onto Jumping Gemini. Not sure why but those 3 effects (ACR, 3CM, JG) look really appealing to me. Kinda like my goals if that makes sense to anyone?

Well i've rambled enough... *hobbles back into shy corner*

Best of luck with the moves! I know what you mean about the new deck syndrome - got some myself today and don't like the idea that I might be grubbying them all up. But oh well!

Stuff like Quizmania is great for practicing double lifts...

Ahh, Debbie King. 8)

But Dave - "if you only make one call, make it now!".

Hehe, I do the same. My current blue deck is worn out but can't bring myself to open a red one. It's mainly because if I open the red one I'll think the blue one is useless and I don't want to do that. It's why I started another thread asking what everyone used their old decks for.

Hmmm need to find something to watch for 2 hours until quizmania comes on. Better go look through the dvd collection.

As a random question, does anyone else try to measure their progress? I don't mean excessively like graphs n charts :D But just like how much you've learnt or progressed in the past week/month etc. I mainly ask as I read a lot of posts on here and do find myself "behind" a lot of people. Not sure if I'm going slow? Or there are other reasons that my tired mind hasn't picked up yet.

Two hours?!??

It's on in about twenty minutes mate!

I've never really measured my progress...it was always an individual thing. Don't worry about how quickly or slowly you are learning. Just go at the pace that is right and works for you.

20 minutes?!? *checks* O.o thanks :D would've missed that hehe.

Yeah guess you're right. The one move that is annoying me is the pass, I can never get it right. Just one of those things I don't seem to make progress on.

Btw does anyone know the 2 Card Monte? I was watching a video on it and I think i've figured it out but obviously not certain.

Well just stick with the pass becasue i wasn't terrible at it at first but i spent all my spare time in practing it and i feel that i have improved quite a bit and that i can now do a 'performable' pass - nowhere near perfect but performable

Also i can do 2 card montey so give me a PM as to how you think its done and i'll let you know if your correct or not

Or we can talk over MSN if your prefer - either way is cool with me
