the old nigeria scam! pillocks and (censored). Lots of false bank ones going around as well.

Called 419 Frauds or Nigerian Advance Fee frauds and there's a department at Scotland Yard dedicated to dealing with them as so many people fall for these believe it or not.
I usually get an average of 2 a day and sometime they're fun to read due to the particularly poor English
