All im asking is someone to take a picture of the Device and send it to my PM so i can see what it looks like.

Its not like i can make the device my self i just want to see what it looks like.

That would be exposure.

When I started off in magic I read the description of the Raven and bought it. I've performed it in public... no times.

I then went back to the books and Im sure I use a principal or trick or piece of advice (probably all 3) found in MWCCIM, Bobo and RRTCM. which all together costs less than £10 more than the Raven.

I know it's annoying when people do this in posts when you want an answer but save £20.

Cheers,

Yes but Craig and Stephen have taken the time to give you some very sound advice. The least you could do is thank them for making the effort .

Oh and you don't need to know what the device looks like. It does the job and with some effort (read: practice) it does the job well. Watch the demo vids etc.

As an amateur, I can't really add anything to the wise professional advice give above but do please bear in mind that such advice is priceless and free of charge - take note and really consider what is said, some magic tutors will charge you several hundred $ or £ for only half that wisdom. In addition, seeing the device won't help any more than seeing a pile of spare parts for a car would tell you how fast that car could go. A lot of magic has hidden bits or items you wouldn’t expect to see and that’s why it’s magic. Raven is a one trick pony but it does the trick very well indeed – if you work on it until you are up to performance standard. As I said to another new member earlier today, bear in mind that a lot of Ravens are bought and never used so it’s not an indispensable piece of kit – the advice given here most certainly is indispensable!

The quick road to good magic does NOT exist it is a myth  You could go out now and spend £20,000 on all the latest effects that does NOT make you a magcian. Everyone on here has taken the time to slowly learn the craft and the problems that comes with it

Sticking feathers up your butt does not make you a chicken

Mandrake, i think i put some postcards in with your order, what did you think of them?

Whoops, I hadn't spotted those - they were stuck to the back of one envelope and were perfectly concealed. I've been doing unintentional DL's with them today! I like the cards, do you think an inset photo of you might be helpful? Would potential customers like to see if they’re getting David Copperfield or Ali Bongo  ? I can't think of anything else to suggest as they do the job very nicely.

that is a small part of it. The customer gets a glossy folder with some postcards, some glossy leaflets (with action pics of me) and A DVd.

On the UK penguinmagic Raven delux is sold out i wont be able to get my money til 3 weeks so they will prolly be in by then.

How long does it take Penguinmagic.co.uk to get there stock in anyway?

And i dont know if im making a mistake getting this but for Vanishing a coin and showing both hands empty is this the only trick?

Nope that's taught in Bobo. I maintain, what you can do with the Raven is very limitted.
