Thanks for the advice everyone!

I was supposed to do magic at about the time the photos were being taken. When it got to that time, however, everyone was milling about and wondering what to do, and the photographer lady trying to march us about like some sort of cocaine-crazed army commander, that it wasn't going to happen. So I left it. I explained to my mate, the groom, that I was going to have to leave it, and he understood perfectly. The rest of the wedding went with a swing and I forgot all about the magic.

But then, after the speeches - when I had had twelve pints of Kronenberg, two small glasses of wine, and a large glass of champagne to toast the happy couple - my mate came up to me and asked me to show someone a trick. I know I shouldn't have - magic when drunk is NEVER a good idea - but I couldn't really refuse my mate on his wedding day! So I showed a few tricks, and then a couple more, and then before I knew it I was being tossed around the room from person to person.

It turns out I was a big success, despite the drunkenness. I knew I far too inebriated to run through any kind of routine, so I limited each person to just a trick or two, and stuck to ones that I knew very, very well. The new tricks I had been learning went out the window, and I avoided anything complicated - like the Ambitious Card, or Ripped and Restored tricks that I know.

Thanks again to anyone who offered any advice, I'm just gutted I can't offer much in return.
