But why bring it back though? This is what really bugs me with things like this - the vanish looks great, and while people know it's not really gone anywhere to bring it back almost immediately is to suggest that it was hidden from view before - that it never really went anywhere.
I must agree with cardza here - when I saw the vanish I thought that it looked great and I was already coming up with lots of improbably theories. The idea of [the way you did it] never crossed my mind until you brought it back .

Yup, it's an impressive vanish, but as they say, once is magical, twice is education, and bringing it back was too educational. Very nice vanish, though. Very nice indeed.
ooo, that could easily go wrong, guess you'd have to be watching the video screen to be able to do this properly. simply lapping the card afterwards would have made it more impressive you're right. but it's the same thing most of us do with a backpalm, you vanish it, then bring it back

Thanks for the feedback. You are right, it would look more impressive to either vanish the card or reappear it. I did both in the video to show you can do both. The view angles are a bit tricky but easily done once you know how to. Most of you i think firgured the basic principal out , it is slieght.
personally id like to see it with a decent light.. its too dark.

I can appreciate that. Here is a different video i had around. My web cam I use has some wierd color stuff going on so it is either really white or really dark.
Also, "Air-Card" that I name it as, is a whole effect not just a disappearance. So that is why you will see another appearance but i disappear thier card *which you see.* Then you don't see the patter and etc. for big download time and pure boredom was cut out, i askthem to go through the deck and try and find thier card since it has "vanished into air" then they can't find thier card in the actual deck and I look confused. I then explain that cards go back to the card box but may still be in the air and not in actual form and you see the appearance. *that is why it is so dark, have to be dark enough to see the empty card box inside*
Tell me what you think. I tried to explain the overall effect as best as I can.
just curious but do you perform the WHOLE routine for anyone?.. the thing about "this is how it starts" then cutting to "and this is how it ends" business just doesnt do it for me.
hmmmmm i could show an empty card case "this is how it starts".. then cut the video to show me pouring 8 squillion pound coins out of it "this is how it ends"
wonder if anyone wouldnt think it was suspicious?
