The cards used for DA2 are Gypsy Fortune Telling cards rather than Tarot so will probably need to be 'read' differently.

The type of cards used in DA2 are available as 'Gypsy Witch' cards. If you buy a deck of them, there should be instructions on giving readings. As Mandrake says, they aren't Tarot cards, so can't be read in quite the same way.

I'm going to be honest. This is a horrible effect. I know it's heresy to criticize a Paul Harris product, but I'm going to save people the money. I've purchased it and it takes much too long to perform. If you somehow have an audience's attention for as long as it takes to do a reading, you're better off with a much harder-hitting effect. There is also too much movement with the trick "move" being repeated several times. I wish there had been a video of this before I bought it.

Shhhhhhhh Mandrake, I was going to bid on this: with a heavy bout of CUPS at the moment, my Paypal balance knows no limits when it comes to bidding, so if it comes to a bidding war, it's probably best to give in now, as I will be taking no prisoners!

Mwahahahahhaahhaha

Oops, sorry  ! I'm not bidding but in any event best of luck, I hope you manage to get this one - at that price it's a steal!

Ah no sorry I thought the link was to DA2, which I've now bought off Ebay, mwahahah. Slight buyer's remorse though: not sure if £14 is that great a steal, but this has been on my wishlist for some time.

I've also bought Ian Rowland's Full Facts Book of Cold Reading, and whilst the tarot reading aspect that the book is designed for (as well as mediumistic / palmistry slants) I think DA2 could be a good prop to use as a bridge to cold reading.
