Hello there and pardon me for having horrid forum etiquette.

I am sending a gift to a little boy tommorrow and it is a Melissa and Doug Magic Set.

In the set are a few tricks and I don't have the instructions for them. They are children's tricks so I know they are very very simple but I can't figure them out.

One is a wooden box. Inside is another wooden box and then another smaller one.

I think the trick is that you are supposed to find a coin hidden in a little pouch that you find when you open the boxes.


Another trick is an extension of the ball in the box. Helping a ball escape from a wooden box.

There are also a stack of wooden cards with numbers on them and also a Mummy Thing that has wooden coins inside .

I bought it second hand so if anyone knows the tricks for this kit or could direct me to them I would appreciate it so so so much.

in that picture you posted, do you see in your 2nd had kit, the black folded over peice of metal? It's pictured just below the wooden box.

You need that for the coin in pouch, in wooden box trick.

yes I have that and it shows it sticking out of the box on the picture on the bottom of the kit but I have no idea how to do it.

can be done a variety of ways. the way I mentioned is a pretty easy way.
